Ok I figured out how to post pictures from my flickr acct....but I had to do it with HTML....so now it is one huge paragragh....so if anyone can tell me how to make this work better, let me know...

I have had a busy week. Work has been crazy, as soon as one patient leaves, we are getting another patient....so it has been quite stressful for everyone At home I have been working on spinning, I have been spinning some purple/pink singles and plan to ply those with a ply of yellow/orange to make a 3 ply yarn....i'm not sure what the WPI will be when i am done, i'm not quite sure how to figure that out....oh well I also spun up some smaller than lace weight yarn/thread out of left over green yarn I posted last week...it is between 30-35 WPI....so more like thread...which is what i was going for....it is a 2 ply....i plan to do some in the purple/pink and yellow/orange as well at the same weight I am working on my first scarf for the year for the mens christmas stockings....it is grey and in the dragon scale pattern....it is quite nice....I'm not sure how long to make a mens scarf...so any input on the length would be appreciated....only 15 (or there abouts)more to go I am listening to http://www.three-elms.com/ geek farm life podcast today....back from pod cast #1...i am up to #9 right now...and they have a total of 44 episodes....it is a weekly podcast I made a kleenex cover this week, it is for a craft a long on crafster.org....i plan to make more of these when i have time...maybe for women stocking stuffers I joined take a stitch tuesday from http://www.inaminuteago.com/blog/ and this is my small attempt at playing with the herringbone stitch I also went to a card making class yesterday...I decided to get a few new stampin up sets....'words of wisdom' (for sympathy cards)...'like it a latte'....'acorns' (stampin up wheel)...and 'very punny' for free I have been thinking on doing a stitch monthly class for Borderdowns instead of the A&S nights....but I'm not sure if there would be enough interest....the night or weekend would be somewhat flexible as far as I am concerned...so if anyone has an opinion, let me know...

This site only allows me to keep 50 pictures on here....so I'm thinking about getting a flickr account and linking out if I need to.....but I have to figure out how to do that.

I have made a few new years goals (resolutions)....

1. Eat more vegetables.

2. Exercise more regularly. (goal of 3 times a week for 30 minutes each)

3. Reduce the clutter in my life and apartment....not sure what I mean by this one yet.

4. No buying yarn or fiber until my stash ALL fits in a tote size smaller than what they each are in now.....this also includes yarn and fiber around the apartment (see #3)

5. Make a WIP and future planned project lists.....and work on the WIP's first.

6. Make time every day for a craft...even if it is only 15 minutes.

I think that is all of my goals.

I have started listening to a few podcasts...and I think my favorite one is www.pointysticks.org She starts each podcast with this hilarious song about poking people in the eye....with pointy sticks...I don't know who the group is that sings it but it is definately on my to get list.

i finished 15 scarves....15 felted soaps....and started spinning some fiber i found that i didn't realize i had...

I'm done with all my christmas gift projects.....14 scarves for the women and older girls....15 felted soaps for the men and older boys.



I'll post the pictures in the next few days....

I do need to finish up a few odds and ends before Christmas... ...ribbon on the soaps....yarn on gifts for some other friends....wrap a few gifts....take it all over to Robin's house....

I already know what I am making the women for Christmas next year...crochetted scrubbies for the kitchen...they are the normal little scrubbies you buy at the grocery store with crochetting edging around them...still working on the mens idea for next year...

Now I can start working on a project all for me why is it that when you are working on a project with a tight deadline you find all these great projects you want to do....oh well now I can start working on them...
