Bright Daffodils to combat the rainy dreary day.
They were on sale at the local gorcery store.
They will of course morph into something else in a few days.


Ladie got a bath from a groomer last saturday, I wasn't real thrilled with the groomer overall, but he did get clean.


I recieved my sip and skein swap package from Sandra, she did a great job.
I love the tea, I've heard of chocolate mint tea in the past,
but i didn't imagine it would be this good.
The yarn is also beautiful(can you see the sparkle in it?)....now what to make out of it?!?!? The soap smells wonderful, but I haven't used it yet.

I also was in an easter stitchmarker exchange, I forgot to take pictures of everything,
but I got blue stitch markers and a needle holder,
and the extra things were chocolate, chamomile tea and easter tissues, spring stickie notes
all inside a cute little spring container.


I also made some new stitch markers, but I think I may list them on etsy, will have to see how they grow on me.


I finished some spinning, this may become a pair of socks, now just to find a pattern.

I also did some spring cleaning and was even able to
freecycle a few things that I let go of.

The socks that I showed in the last post, I frogged it completely,
I was about 1/2 done with the foot and I decided the top band
was too tight, so I frogged it.... ....but I restarted them and decided to just do 2 repeats before
I start the heel flap....the pattern calls for 6....will post pictures when I get them done.

I also washed up some merino fleece last week that I still have and
I have started carding another group of fleece that I had stashed.

I am currently working on my monkey socks

If I had to pick this is one of my 2 favorite projects at the current time....
I like these because they are not just stockinette stitch socks....
my first pair with a real stitch pattern....
and my first pair with fingering weight sock yarn!!!!

My second favorite project at this time is beanis from www.theanticraft.com

Yes I am a little strange....I think thats why I like this project....
everyone needs to have their own beanis to play with, torture....or whatever....
the next one will be out of self striping sock yarn ....for a 'friend' ....
now I just need to figure out how to stuff the thing....
