I joined the Mystery Stole 3 knit a long.
I have clue 2 finished and am currently working on clue 3.
This is the pattern through the end of clue 2, the picture in the lace looks familiar,
but I just can't place it.



Last weekend I went to see the new harry potter movie,
it was very good in my opinion, but then I haven't read the books.
I can't wait to see what happens in the last 2 movies,
then maybe I will read the books, but I don't want to spoil the movies.
I always find it irritating when people complain when the movie
leaves out certain peices of the book. There is no way they could make a movie
directly like a book, it would take forever to make and watch.
Plus it is the director's interpretation of the story, so we would all probably do it a little differently.

Well enough of that babble. I am also working on the breeze socks from knitty.com,
I am making them in a 80% cotton, 20%wool yarn, so will have to see how I like that.
Sorry no pics of those, I've ripped them out 3 times....
I think this is the magic number...maybe

The next project that I am working on...mostly in my head at this point....is the perfect purse/project (knitting) bag....I have some fabric cut out...I just need to finish that part and start constructing....and see if it works in real life like it works in my head....

I know its been a few weeks since I've posted in here, but I have been busy with things...

I went out to Meghan's and we were 'picking' lichen to dye wool with.
I think I have enough now to really experiment with.

Then we visited her alpaca's and llama, they were a little leary of us even though
we had the magic buckets of grain. But Gordon and Ruger did come say hi.
Gordon is the llama (white and brown) and Ruger is one of the reddish-brown alpaca's.

Don't know if I had put up a picture of my completed Monkey socks....

one of them is a little longer in the foot than the other....but I am getting better with the socks....

I ordered this sock yarn from yarn tart on etsy....it is destined for socks, the color way is called lavendar fields....

I have also been knitting on 3 scarves....one in a neon green microsuede in the dragon stitch....one in orangy lion wool
....and one in off white lion brand jiffy yarn....not sure of the stitches for the last 2....
and I am working on another pair of socks...but alas...no pictures for these items...

I have also been making cards and spinning a little....
